Getting Around
Getting around Cardiff couldn’t be easier. Most of the city centre is accessible on foot, by public transport or in a private taxi. Local taxi firms operate in the area, as well as app-based transport services like Uber and Bolt.
Whether you’re travelling for work, fun or family, Cardiff has excellent transport links to the rest of the UK as well as overseas. Cardiff Central station is located in the middle of the city, with links to rail routes throughout the UK. Central London is less than 2 hours away from Cardiff by rail, as is Birmingham. The vibrant, buzzing city of Bristol is just an hour away by rail, or you can drive in under 2 hours.
The M4 is less than 20 minutes drive from the city centre and Cardiff Airport is just 30 minutes away, with direct flights to Europe, Africa and the Caribbean along with links to the rest of the world.
