As Wales’s first co-living property, we’re sure you have questions about living with Fitz & Knox. We’re here to help – take a look at our most frequently asked questions below!

Our apartments are available to let from spring 2026 onwards.

Yes! Our apartments come fully furnished and have white goods built in (including a full-size fridge/freezer, oven, hob and a washer/dryer). .

There are no parking spaces for residents at Fitz&Knox, but we're conveniently located next door to NCP's Knox Road Car Park where residents can purchase a season ticket to suit your needs.

Fitz & Knox boasts extensive amenity space including:

Utility bills are included in the rent subject to fair usage. Utility bills include your heating, hot water and electricity. Wi-Fi is also included in your monthly rent payment.

Where applicable, residents are responsible for paying their own:

  • Council tax directly to Cardiff City Council. Some residents are exempt from paying council tax or may be eligible for single person discounts. Residents should contact Cardiff City Council directly to find out more.
  • TV Licence to TV licencing
  • Your private apartment
  • Furniture
  • Broadband (with a speed of 300mbps)
  • Cycle Storage
  • Self Service Parcel store

Yes! We have over 100 spaces for bikes, indoors.

Yes! We have lockers available to rent to store additional items that you don't want to keep in your apartment. Contact the Fitz & Knox team for more information and refer to our fee schedule for details on charges.

No. We are unable to store electric bikes and E-Scooters in the building due to fire safety.

Fitz & Knox Limited

Fresh Property Group Ltd is your registered letting agent for Fitz & Knox

No. You cannot smoke or vape in the apartment or anywhere in the building including the communal spaces and communal terraces. There is a designated smoking/vaping area in the courtyard.

We require photo identification, in the form of a passport or national identity card.

If you don't have a passport, we would require A copy of your full or provisional driving license (the photo card)

We also require proof of your address dated in the last 3 months

We offer complete flexibility with your deposit so once you’ve passed our reference checks we will ask you to decide between paying a traditional deposit or making a one-off non-refundable check-in fee payment to our partner Flatfair, but don’t worry, we will provide you with all the info you need to make the decision. Please see our FAQs for more information.

Once that's done and payment has been made, you will then receive your Occupation Contract to sign. Your first rent instalment will then be due 7 days before the start of your tenancy, and then you're ready to move in!

Yes. We will hold regular events for residents as part of our Belong Residents Club and welcome suggestions on how we can make your experience even better.

Do you earn 1.7x the annual rent value? For example, if your monthly rent is £1,000 you'll need to earn at least £20,400 per year before tax. If you don't earn enough then you may be able to rent using a guarantor.

Your Guarantor must -

Earn a minimum of 2.5x the annual rent, before tax

Once you have completed your reference checks and have chosen your deposit option, you’ll be able to coordinate with our Residents’ team for your chosen move-in date
