Things to do in Bath

Bath is known over the world for its Roman-era thermal spa, but there’s a wealth of things to do in the city in addition to this. The city is also famous for being the home of Jane Austen, with a centre dedicated to her — and this is just one of over 40 other museums across Bath, including the Holburne Museum and Fashion Museum. There’s almost always something on, whether it's live music, local sports, comedy nights or festivals. The city is also home to a huge variety of excellent restaurants and pubs. Local favourite Goulash serves up hearty Eastern European cuisine, while Bikano's Indian is the place to get your curry fix. Dough and Bath Pizza Co are known for their authentic Italian dishes, and the Packhorse makes for the perfect pub lunch on a weekend. Bath is renowned for its luxury shopping, from artisnal markets and independent shops to the Southgate Centre, which has everything you need to keep busy.

Our rental studio apartments in Bath are near the city centre, in the ideal location to explore this charming city and its stunning surroundings of the Cotswold, a renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are enough scenic walks and quaint medieval villages to last a lifetime, giving you the chance to escape the city and get some countryside peace and quiet whenever you need it. Most people get around by foot or bike, but if you need to travel to nearby Bristol or further afield to London (still just an hour and a half away), Bath Spa Train Station is closeby to our studio apartments in Bath.

And bringing you back to the present day, our fully furnished student housing is modern, comfortable and designed to make your student life easy and exciting.

Active types can explore the Bath Skyline Walk, row or paddle down the Kennet and Avon Canal, and go wild swimming at Warleigh Weir. Or cheer on Bath Rugby Club, one of the oldest in the world.

Getting Around

There are two motorways servicing the city plus high-speed rail links, with Bath Spa Railway Station in the city centre. Most places in Bath are easily accessible by foot, or there are local transport links right outside your student accommodation, giving you the perfect central base to experience your best life at uni.
