The Waterways, Nottingham

Fresh, the UK’s leading specialist third-party manager of residential for rent homes, is pleased to announce that its 348-bed student scheme, The Waterways, in Nottingham is open for bookings ahead of the September 2024 academic year.

This will be the fourth scheme managed by Fresh on behalf of EQT Exeter, with three other PBSA schemes in Glasgow, Bristol and Swansea already under management, and a further scheme mobilising in Bath.

The new, contemporary scheme offers a mixture of cluster flats and studios and a stylish design to its residents. Amenities include a communal bar and games room, quiet study area, social space and meeting room, as well as a cinema room, fitness area, laundry facilities and a cycle storage facility. In addition to the excellent amenities, Fresh is offering early bird applications with a £150 Uber discount.

The scheme will also host Fresh’s signature award winning Be Programme, offering residents a full wellbeing and social programme, with clubs and experiences to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and encouragement to engage with the wider community.

The Waterways is ideally located close to a number of Nottingham’s higher education establishments – Nottingham Trent University is a short 10-minute walk away, whilst the University of Nottingham can be reached by either a 20-minute bus or tram. The University of Law and Nottingham Business School are also both within a 15-minute walk of the scheme.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Cordin, Head of Central Division at Fresh said: “I am delighted to announce that The Waterways in Nottingham is open for bookings, which marks the fourth property we manage on EQT Exeter’s behalf. Student engagement is key to Fresh’s offering and residents at The Waterways will be encouraged to take part in our Be Programme. Nottingham is a thriving student city, and we are pleased to help satisfy the growing demand for high quality student accommodation. The Waterways is ideally located to accommodate students from both universities with easy access to campuses as well as the city centre.”

Russell Petrie, Head of Student Housing – Europe, at EQT Exeter, said: "The Waterways represents a new student housing project in Nottingham that brings together high-quality living spaces with exciting sustainability features and will provide a home away from home for its residents as they pursue their studies. We are proud to be opening for bookings well ahead of the 2024-‘25 academic year and look forward to welcoming our first residents over the coming months."
