Residents across our communities have helped generate an estimated £117,747 in donated stock for the British Heart Foundation while diverting 44 tonnes of items from the waste stream through the charity’s #PackForGood campaign.

By donating unwanted clothing, household items and everyday essentials, residents have given pre-loved belongings a second life, supported vital heart research and helped reduce unnecessary waste.

Supporting Lifesaving Research

Cardiovascular disease affects more than eight million people across the UK. The British Heart Foundation currently supports more than 1,272 researchers and has invested £103 million in world-leading research.

Every donation, big or small, helps to fund research, improve treatments and bring hope to people affected by heart and circulatory diseases.

More Than a Clear-Out

#PackForGood makes it easy for residents to give unwanted items a new home. From clothing and kitchenware to everyday essentials, each donation keeps useful items in circulation for longer, supports a more circular economy and contributes to an important cause.

Thank You for Making a Difference

Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign, from residents who donated items to the teams who promoted and facilitated collections. This achievement would not have been possible without you.

As our partnership with the British Heart Foundation continues, we look forward to building on this success and encouraging even more donations in 2026/27. Keep an eye out for details of the next collection and join us in giving pre-loved items a new home.
