We've got some exciting news to share.

Fresh has been shortlisted for three awards at the Liverpool Property & Business Awards 2026, including a nomination for Best Student Housing Operator, while both Benson Yard and Calico have been shortlisted for Best Student Accommodation Development.

And while we're incredibly proud of the recognition, the best part is what it says about the student experience being delivered right here in Liverpool.

That's why we're so pleased to see both Benson Yard and Calico recognised.

Two Liverpool communities getting recognition

With a StudentCrowd rating of 4.26 out of 5, it's clear that residents value not only the accommodation itself but the experience that comes with living there.

Whether it's resident events, social spaces or support from the onsite team, the focus has always been on helping students settle in and make the most of university life.

Calico

Home to more than 730 students, Calico is one of Liverpool's largest student communities.

From social events and wellbeing initiatives to the communal spaces where friendships are formed, Calico has built a reputation for delivering an outstanding student experience.

Its 4.51 out of 5 StudentCrowd rating reflects the positive feedback residents continue to share and highlights why it has earned its place on the shortlist.

Why we're especially proud

We're also delighted that Fresh has been named one of only ten finalists for Best Student Housing Operator.

For prospective students, this means the recognition goes beyond a single building. It reflects the experience delivered across our communities, from dedicated onsite support and wellbeing initiatives to events, resident engagement and day-to-day service.
