Fresh, the UK’s leading specialist third-party manager of residential for rent homes, is pleased to announce that it has renewed contracts with CLS Holdings PLC (“CLS”) to continue to manage the 393-bed PBSA property, Spring Mews in Vauxhall, London.
Located in Vauxhall, Spring Mews is ideally located for students studying in London and has transport links to all the major academic institutions such as the London School of Economics, Kings College and Imperial. In addition to its excellent location Spring Mews is equipped with amenities such as a study room, gym, indoor, swimming pool, cycle store, courtyard and cinema room.
CLS, in partnership with Fresh, recently completed a refurbishment of some of the Spring Mews social spaces using the latters ‘Refresh’ service. The project, which was undertaken by Fresh’s parent company Watkins Jones, was designed to maximise the existing study spaces through updating soundproofing and lighting, as well as a revamp of an underutilised meeting room to create a brand-new cinema room and separate multi-function room with facilities that can be customised for use for yoga, dance, meetings, or as an art studio.
The renewal also means Residents at Spring Mews will continue to benefit from Fresh’s award-winning Be Wellbeing programme which aims to create a sense of belonging and community for all its residents through its four pillars: be active, be connected, be social and be supported, all led by dedicated Fresh site teams. The programme also provides resource hubs to support its residents with both their mental health and well-being and provides them with a Be action calendar to encourage community engagement and activities. Fresh’s Be Wellbeing programme was recently recognised at the Property Week Awards 2023 “Best Health and Welling Initiative” award.
Commenting on the renewal, Sam Scott, Fresh Managing Director said: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with CLS and to manage their Spring Mews property in Vauxhall for the next five years. The relationship and continuity of service has delivered for students, CLS and the Fresh team. Our team on site do an incredible job backed up with our central service team of subject matter experts. It was very pleasing to work on the recent Refresh project in conjunction with Watkin Jones, was completed ahead of schedule with minimal disruption with the aim to maximise the use of social spaces and value of money for residents.
