The Team put time into getting to know each of their residents personally and are trained in mental health first aid. They prioritise identifying early signs of stress, anxiety and loneliness, allowing them to intervene and prevent issues from escalating.

Fresh’s award-winning Be Wellbeing Programme provides a calendar of residents’ events which celebrates inclusivity and creates a sense of community. Be offers a wellbeing and lifestyle schedule that integrates residents through fun activities and delivers a hub of resources to support students. From inspiring students to be active and connected to others as well as being social, a carefully curated schedule of events and workshops will be implemented at Benson Yard, tailored towards their residents’ interests.

Examples of Be Wellbeing events from other student accommodations managed by Fresh in recent months include inclusive cultural celebrations such as Lunar New Year, Holi and Eid, study sessions during exam periods, city scavenger hunts to develop team building skills and encourage students to get outdoors and explore as well as puppy therapy days, fitness challenges, Pride and summer festivals on site using outdoor spaces.
